We build things
that work.

03 · Method

How we work

Four steps, no committee. You can stop after the second one and walk away with the scoping document.

01

Frame the problem

You write to contact@noqe.org: what you want to build, by when, and a budget range — rough is fine. If the project isn't a fit, you hear it in the first reply — not at the third meeting.

an email is enough
02

Scope and quote

A thirty-minute call, then a short document: scope, what is explicitly excluded, timeline, fixed price. It's free and it's yours — if you take it elsewhere, my loss.

03

Build in the open

Work ships in short batches, invoiced on delivery. Every Friday you get a link to the live version: you click through it instead of reading a status report, and you change course while it still costs three lines of code.

04

Ship and hand over the keys

Production deploy, then the Git repository, accounts and vendor access in your name, with a README written for someone who isn't me. Bugs in what was delivered get fixed at no charge for thirty days.

04 · The studio

A studio,
not an agency.

There's no team behind noqe: there's Antoine Wilk, a developer based in Lille — the person reading your email is the one writing the code, and the one hitting deploy.

The studio has been registered since August 2026, the trademark is filed, and the first in-house products ship before the end of the year. Until then, the brick-breaker hidden behind this page's Konami code is the rough draft.

What people ask

The real questions, with real answers — including the inconvenient ones.

You have no work to show. Why would I trust you with my project?
Because it's true, and it stays written down: the studio has been registered since August 2026, with no public client to date. Exhibit A is this page — hand-written, no framework, not a single request to a third-party server, with a playable brick-breaker hidden behind the Konami code. If that isn't enough, shrink the risk instead of taking all of it: one short first batch, paid on delivery. You're betting a week, not a quarter.
You work alone. What happens if you get sick?
The schedule slips, and you hear it from me — not the day before delivery. Nobody covers for me — better to say it upfront. What is planned for is what comes after: your code lives in your repository from the first commit, and the stack is deliberately ordinary (TypeScript, React, Node, PostgreSQL) so any developer can pick it up without doing archaeology. I take one large project at a time — that's the condition for the schedule to hold. If your project needs contractual continuity or 24/7 support, a ten-person company will serve you better than I will.
What does it cost?
Fixed price, never hourly: the price is set at scoping and only moves if the scope moves. No VAT to add — French small-business exemption (art. 293 B): the quoted amount is the amount you pay. Ballpark: a proper marketing site lands between €2k and €6k; an app with accounts, a database and an admin panel starts around €8k. Hosting, domain and APIs sit on top: estimated in the quote, paid at cost, directly to the provider.
How long until it's live?
A marketing site: 1 to 2 weeks. A full-stack app with accounts, a database and an admin panel: 4 to 10 weeks depending on scope. For a game or an AI tool, scope decides everything — no number before scoping. I commit batch by batch, not to a six-month date that means nothing on day one: if things slip, you get a new date, not an awkward silence.
Is the code mine? And if I want to stop halfway?
The Git repository is on your account from the first commit, hosting and database opened in your name, not mine — rights transferred with each paid invoice. You can stop at the end of any batch: you never pay for work that doesn't exist yet, and what has been delivered stays with you. No in-house framework locking you in, no licence to re-purchase every year, nothing held hostage. The day you switch developers, you revoke one access — that's it.
Do you code with AI? Am I paying for generated code?
Yes, every day — selling LLM integration while avoiding it for my own code would be odd. It writes fast and it also gets things wrong: what you pay for is the architecture, the review, and the fact that someone signs off on what goes to production. Nothing ships without being read and tested. If you'd rather have code written without assistance, say so at scoping: it's doable, it's slower, so it costs more.
