A “rade” is a bar — proper French slang. Rade is the directory of France's beer bars: 35 to 40,000 typed addresses, where every fact is sourced and dated. Never hearsay.
A fact, a source, a date
Bar directories already exist — full of bare values, unverifiable and stale. Rade never stores a bare value: every attribute arrives with its source, its date and its confidence level. You always know where it came from.
Every bar is typed — because a corner café pouring two industrial lagers and a brewery taproom are not the same night out.
Three public sources, two enrichment layers
The real state of the work, step by step — no promises, just statuses.
The MVP is being run in on the Lille metropolitan area — 95 towns, a respectable density of rades, and terrain varied enough to prove the pipeline before opening it to the whole of France. “In progress” means the code runs and cards come out; the rest gets ticked only once verified.
Data first, map second
The app will be a map PWA: open it and see the rades around you, typed and documented. It does not exist yet — and we will not pretend: until the data is solid, the map waits its turn. The visual direction, though, is set: every bar treated like a beer mat you flip over.
